Information we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a record of your consent, including the time of signup and the version of the signup notice. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message. Our hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the website. The signup form temporarily uses a hashed IP address to limit abuse.
How we use information
We use your email address to send the app news, launch announcements, and updates you request. We rely on your consent for these emails. We use technical information for our legitimate interests in running, securing, and maintaining the website, and use correspondence to respond to your requests. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Sharing and storage
Signup records are stored in our WordPress database on Hostinger. We use service providers for hosting and email delivery, and share information with them only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell or rent your email address. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and prevent misuse. Service providers may process information outside your country; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies and tracking
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand website visits, page views, scrolling, and confirmed newsletter form submissions. Analytics may process device and browser information, approximate location, referral information, and cookie identifiers. We do not send your signup email address or form values to Google Analytics. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send, and use only the origin of referring websites.
Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics.” You can reject it or withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. We remember your choice in your browser for up to 180 days. When allowed, Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga to recognize visits; we configure these to last up to 180 days. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals. Google may process information in other countries under its applicable data-processing terms. WordPress may use necessary cookies for administrators who sign in. Hosting and security services may use essential technology to deliver and protect the website. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or signing up for updates.
Retention and your choices
We keep your signup information while you remain subscribed and the mailing list remains active. You can unsubscribe through a link in our emails or by emailing contact@suggestedapps.com. We remove unsubscribed addresses from the active list; limited information may remain temporarily in backups or where needed to comply with law or honor your opt-out.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, object to processing, or request restrictions. Contact us to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children and policy changes
This signup service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted an address. We may update this policy as the website changes and will revise the date above. For material changes affecting your choices, we will provide an appropriate notice.
